I am trying to type a document and all words that I type end up being
underlined. For some reason, the "underline' option is not on my toolbar. Also, I looked under Format but can't find anyting regarding underlining. |

This is really two different problems. If everything is being underlined and
pressing Ctrl+U doesn't stop it, then you probably have Track Changes enabled. If you are displaying full menus and toolbars and don't see the Underline button, you can restore it; see http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Customizat...oreMenuCmd.htm -- Suzanne S.
