I would like to refer to tables and figures, by their caption number, within
the text of my document and have these links automatically update if I add/delete/move the tables and their captions around later. For example, text may say "...see Table 7 for a list of ingredients...", and the number "7" is a link to the caption for table 7. If I move table 7 later, Word will update the table number in the caption, and I would like it to update it in the text reference as well so that I don't have to do this manually. I'd appreciate any help on this, thanks. |
