Can I use variables in Word that can be read from Access,Excel,or
I'm kind of new to using Word for business applications, but would like to
know if it is possible to create a form letter with variables instead of values and have the actual values read from a spreadsheet, database, or xml file? I have to do monthly reports on the same data, but varying values everymonth, and inputting data for 12 reports into one table would be easier than opening each report and searching for the instances of each datum. Any help would be most greatly appreciated. Thanks. Mark |

This sounds like mailmerge to me - though you may be able to achieve what
you want with an Access report. -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org deadbeat wrote: I'm kind of new to using Word for business applications, but would like to know if it is possible to create a form letter with variables instead of values and have the actual values read from a spreadsheet, database, or xml file?
