Default Word Printing Problem

Word 2000 has a printing problem with page numbers on my new HP 7310
All-in-one, when printing a single page of a multi-page document in which the
pages are numbered "1 of 9", "2 of 9", . . . "9 of 9". If only page 3 is
selected, the page number comes out "3 of 3", not "3 of 9" as it should.

This only happens with Word. I have tried it with Excel, Powerpoint,
TextPad, Firefox browser, and several other programs. All work properly.

I am running Windows XP Home, SP1, on a Sony Vaio.
