I deleted a shortcut to Word from my desktop. Now it is gone from the list
of programs in Office. The only way I can open Word is either to open a pre-existing document or use the New Office Document shortcut. Any ideas about getting Word back into my list of "All Programs?" |

Replying to my own question: read the answers to a similar question below.
I've gone to WINWORD.EXE and created a shortcut to Word from my desktop, but am still puzzled as to why it disappeared from my list of Programs in the Start-All Programs-Microsoft Office list. Any ideas? BTW, I'm using Windows XP and Office Professional 2003. "Laura Sue" wrote: I deleted a shortcut to Word from my desktop. Now it is gone from the list of programs in Office.
