When I like to print an envelope I do like this in Word 2003:
Select Tools - Envelopes and Labels... in the menu. Select the Envelope size C5. Type a delivery address. Click the Options button and change From left from Auto to maximum using the up arrow button (12.71 cm), and click OK. I click at the print button and the resulting printout has the adress printed 9.7 cm from the left (3 cm wrong). Why cannot Word print correctly ? If I set From left to 5.0 cm the address will be printed correctly 5 cm from the left edge. Next time I do: Select Tools - Envelopes and Labels... in the menu and click the Options button, the From left setting is back to Auto. Why cannot Word remember my last settings ? -- Bengt Nilsson, Staffanstorp, Sweden |
