How can I prevent Word from deselecting a selected text
when I leave Word windows and go to another application
(while still seeing Word window below the top window)?

Hi Math

I think that the marking of the selected text is designed to show you that
the Word window is the active window, and that anything you do (eg, press
Delete) will affect that selected text. When you're using another window,
your actions won't affect that selected text, and so it's not highlighted.

But it should be still selected when you make that the active window again.
