Word 2003.

In one particular (old doc created in Word 97), no matter where in the doc I
place the cursor, when I release the mouse button, the cursor pops up to the
top left corner of the very first page (appears to be near where the top-left
corner margins are placed). I can't highlight using the cursor/mouse either.
This happens with all the pages in this doc..but only in this doc. I tried
saving under a different name, etc.

Try unprotecting it.

Thanks. That seems to be the prob. Unfortunately, while I was the person who
created the doc (back in 2000), and don;t recall having a need to PW-Protect
it, , I don't recall the PW now. Oh Well.
