I have defined styles and I am using numbered lists. I am copying text into
a document with the correct styles. My problem occurs when I try to restart
numbering. Currently I can not select the style I want AND restart numbering
after a new heading (based on heading 2 style.) I can select the text and
apply the style but the numbering continues from the previous list. Upon
selecting, Format, Bullets and Numbering, Restart Numbering. My selected
text is "adjusted" (using polite terms). The adjustment moves the left
margin out while maintaining the applied style. I have to adjust the margin
after restarting the text. After copying text from one doc to the updated
doc I can no longer apply and adjust without wonking all of the numbered
items. Thanks in advance for help.
