Default Microsoft Word 2003 Screen Tips Shuts Off Too Quickly

When using screen tips on tracked changes in Word 2003, the screen tips flash
so quickly on the screen the user cannot read the information. This problem
has been duplicated on multiple machines using different documents. I would
like to be able to lengthen the amount of time that screen tips displays.

Does anyone know of a fix for this? We are experiencing this very same
issue. We've tried disabling and re-enabling screen tips but no luck still.
The screen tip displays but only for a brief moment before it disappears.
Any help would be greatly appreciated...

Thanks,

-Shane

A similar problem with footnotes in Word 2002 is solved (temporarily--once
per document per Word session) by turning the Document Map on and off), so
you might try that.

Thank you for responding so quickly Suzanne! I did find a different
newsgroup post for the footnotes in Word 2002 issue earlier. I tried turning
the document map on and off as suggested in the post, however the problem
remained. If you or anyone else have any other suggestions I'm all ears.
Thanks again.
