Default What are the 4 backward L's on my new blank doc in Word?

They appear in the print preview but do not print. They were not there
yesterday and I want them gone. It looks almost like the marker guides for
paragraph indents but its not. They are in all 4 corners.

Probably Text Boundaries.

For 2003, go to Tools, Options, General, Print and Web Layout Options -
uncheck Text Boundaries. They should disappear.

Margin marks or crop marks appear on each corner of the page when you open a
document in Word

Thsat was already unchecked. It is not a frame all the way around it is just
in the four corners of the margins, boundaries, whatever you want to call it.
Any other Ideas?
