On my keyboard (which I share from time to time with other users) the keys of
@ and " have become accidentally transposed i.e. to type the 'at' symbol I have to press shift and double quotes, and vice versa. How do I restore the default, without reinstalling the keyboard (for which I don't have access to software). I am using MS Word 2003. Thanks. |

It sounds like the keyboard language setup in Windows got switched
from English (US) to English (UK) or vice versa. See http://homepage.swissonline.ch/cindymeister/LangFmt.htm for how to set it properly. You won't have to reinstall anything. -- Regards, Jay Freedman Microsoft Word MVP FAQ: http://word.mvps.org Email cannot be acknowledged; please post all follow-ups to the newsgroup so all may benefit.
