I would like to use a background picture on an email in Outlook but it tiles.
Is there any way to have the full picture without tiling please?
It is annoying and too cluttered when it is tiled.
Would greatly appreciate advice :-)
And this group is where I was sent from 'Help' can't find an option for
Outlook in the drop down list.

If you use a newsreader such as Outlook Express to access the newsgroups on
News.Microsoft.Com, there are a total of 15 Outlook Newsgroups from which
you can select the one most appropriate to your needs.

All of that said however, you are probably wasting your time as you have no
control over how the recipient of your email will view it. Most astute
people have their mail program configured to view emails in Text Only mode
in which case, your picture will not appear.

Thanks - I couldn't find them. I am using Outlook but can use OE for news.
Didn't know how to get them.

I did state that this is where 'Help' brought me and I looked on the drop
down list and there were only Word options.

1.1. Connect to a newsgroup server using Outlook Express
Open Outlook Express and follow these steps:
1. On the Tools menu, click Accounts.
2. In the Internet Account dialog box, click Add, and then click News.
The Internet Connection Wizard starts. Follow these steps in the wizard:
1. On the first screen, in the Display name box, type the name that other
users will see when you post a message to the newsgroup, and then click
Next.
2. On the second screen, type your full e-mail address in the E-mail
address box, and then click Next.
3. On the third screen, in the News (NNTP) Server box, type the name of
your news server. To subscribe to the newsgroups hosted on Microsoft's
servers, type msnews.microsoft.com. If you don't know the name of your news
server, contact your Internet provider.
4. If necessary, select the My news server requires me to log on check
box, and then click Next. If you don't know whether your server requires you
to log on, contact your Internet provider. The Microsoft server does not
require a user name and password.

Thank you - I copied and pasted your instructions into Word as I don't know
how to save your instructions.
I will use Outlook Express to do this as I find it very confusing to try and
find the right place on this web based newsgroup service
