I have not been able to use the delete key at all for Microsoft Word 2003.
The delete feature works fine in Microsoft Outlook but not for Word. |

Hello Suzanne,
Again, I have done as you've instructed. But can you please let me know where on earth I can find the status bar. I kept looking for the word and nothing popped up. I will check in again later on. Again, Thank you most kindly for being so patient and so understanding for people like me who just aren't technically savvy with what you do. So, Thank you! If you look at the status bar, you will see that it is displaying the message €śDelete Block? No (Yes).€ť If you press Y, the block will be deleted, but this is doubtless one more step than you want. This is an indication that you have checked one or more of the options referring to WordPerfect on the General tab of Tools | Options. Clear both check boxes (these options are actually no help to most migrants from WordPerfect anyway), and you will not be asked for delete confirmation again "Suzanne S. Tools | Options | View: Status bar. The status bar is displayed by default,
and if you don't have it displayed, you should, as it contains much useful information. But if you've unchecked the two WordPerfect options, you've already solved the problem. -- Suzanne S.
