Hi,
I'm not much of a word expert and I've just completed a relatively long document (about 170 pages). I did not set up the document correctly and, instead of using tabs, there were times when I used spaces to indent. I managed to get all the tabs to line up in the entire document using the ruler. However, on certain lines, I now have tabs AND the spaces I used. I found something in a newsgroups that was supposed to get rid of those spaces but it didn't work. Is there any way I could get rid of any space that was after a paragraph ending character. I had considered I'd write a program to do this but I figure there must be something in word. Any suggestions? Thanks, Fig |

Select the text (CTRL+A)
Centre the Text (CTRL+E) Left align the text (CTRL+L) Leading white space is removed. Don't use tabs - use paragraph styles to format the document. -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org fig000 wrote: Hi, I'm not much of a word expert and I've just completed a relatively long document (about 170 pages).
