Caption field appears empty
When I go to insert - Reference - Caption I try to type in the Caption
field and nothing appears. As I kept typing I found that it is actually typing, but takes about 20 characters to show up, than I can see "Figure1" in the box, but none of my typing after it. Is it right justified or something? Can I get it back to left justified? |

It sounds as if the Caption style has been modified to be right-aligned or
perhaps just centered. Change it through Format | Style. You can still change it back later if you want the captions to be centered (as many people often do). -- Suzanne S.
