Default Conversion from Word 2000 to Word 2003

Everytime I open Word 2003, I get a message saying "The global
template, normal.dot, is already open as an add-in program."

I do have a normal.dot file in the same place as my startup folders,
but it's not within a folder.

Anyone have any ideas on how to stop this?

Also, after I say OK to the above message, I get a prompt that says
"Compile error in hidden module - Sink Object".

I'm assuming it has to do with the templates/macros I've got loading in
the startup?

Thanks -- it's going to be a long conversion!

Normal.dot should NOT be in your Startup folder. That is what is causing the
first message. The only copy of Normal.dot should be in the folder specified
on the File Locations tab of Tools | Options. For the second message, see
section 4 of http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/AppErrors/...peningWord.htm
