[Tom Wetzel]

I've turned off every auto-correct or auto-format option i can find in word
or outlook but I still get annoying popups with formatting/editing options
such as paste, translate, etc. These occur sporadically and
spontaneously as I'm typing and interfere
with my typing. How can I turn this feature off?

You can turn off Paste Options on the Edit tab of Tools | Options. You can
turn off AutoCorrect Options in the Tools dialog of the same name. You can
turn off AutoComplete in the AutoText dialog. Alt+click is going to open the
Research pane, and there's nothing you can do about it except avoid that
combination.

I already did all of those things. Didn't end the popups.
