Default Word 2003 Lost/Never Had Built-In AutoText entries. Recover How?

Our Word 2003 was factory installed by Dell. This is a machine in our home.
We do not seem to have the Built-In AutoText entries mentioned in the
literature. The only one we do have is one I made. How can I
recover/install the Built-In AutoText entries. Or if the built-ins are not
very useful and this endeavor is a waste of time, let me know that too.
Thanks

I would complain to Dell. Actually it is not easy to achieve by accident and
it is not easy to fix properly so I would be quite sure you don't have them
before doing anything. What makes you say you don't have them?

If you delete (or rename) your Normal.dot template, Word will create a new
one next time you open Word and that new one will have all the built-in
autotexts in it. You will, however, lose any customizations you have made to
your original normal.dot.

You *can* use the Organizer to copy autotexts from one template to another
but it doesn't copy the Style so you lose the grouping you get by default
and, as far as I know, there is no way round it.

As for whether or not they're useful to you, I can't say. I rarely use them
myself.
