It is difficult to align paragraphs that have been configured for auto
numbering. Tabbing causes the numbers to become a subcategory instead of
indenting the text 5 spaces like a typewriter.

For Example:

2.0 Text
2.1"This text needs a
tab alignment"

becomes

2.0 Text
2.0.1 "This text STILL needs a
tab alignment"

This behavior depends on the setting of "Set first- and left-indent with
tabs and backspaces" on the AutoFormat As You Type tab of Tools |
AutoCorrect Options.
