Default Word - bring back old style of "insert table" button on toolbar.

I used to like the button on the Table toolbar that allowed me to ad as many
boxes and columns when I wanted to add a table...WITHOUT having to type in
the numbers. Plus, there's the problem where I have a bullet for the table,
but when I add the darn table it includes the bullets/numbering inside the
table which I did not want in the first place or I wouldn't have used
bulleting at all beforehand. Some of the new table buttons are very
inconvenient. Bring back some of the old style buttons that I like.

This button is still the default in versions up to Word 2003, which I assume
is what you're discussing, since Word 2007 doesn't have the same kind of
menu/toolbar structure. If you no longer have that button, add it back via
Tools | Customize (see
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Customizat...ToToolbar.htm). The
command you want (under All Commands) is TableInsertGeneral.
