email addresses HELP!!
I have 34 pages of e-mail addresses in word that look like this as you look
down the pages (addresses are examples): , , , I want them all to line up next to each other so they look like this: , , This way, I can just copy and paste them into an e-mail. Is there a quick way to make them line up like that? Right now I am deleting each line to make them line up but it is taking forever. Please help me! |

email addresses HELP!!
Find and Replace is your best option. What you do is:
Open up Find and Replace (ctrl+F and go to the Replace tab). Under find, you will either type ", ^p" (if there is a space at the end of each entry) or ",^p" (if there isn't a space). The important bit here is the "^p", which is a paragraph delimiter. Under Replace type ", " (a comma and a space). Hit replace all and all of the e-mail addresses should line up nicely. email addresses HELP!!
I think that the fastest way is to Copy and past the table into Excel,
then use the Paste Special Transpose function. Then copy and pasted back into WORD. ~Amanda~ |

It would work equally well just to replace ^p with a space or nothing as
appropriate. -- Suzanne S.
