Default microsoft office word 2003

I have been using microsoft office 2003 for 3 weeks. I did not activate it.
Now When I pull it up noe I cannot type or use anything on it. I get a
message that modification not allowed because document is locked. Tried to
activate it but program states Im up to limit on product key??? What should I
do???

Was that copy of Office previously installed on a different computer?

program. If it is a retail version that is not installed on other PCs also,
