Default data not transferring in to mail merge

Having walked throught the various steps in the mail merge programme, when I
print, only the first recipient is printed from my Excel data source. if I
scroll through to the subsequent recipient numbers under 'Preview your
letters', the data appears as it should do, but they won't print! I am using
Word 2003.

Help!!!

You have not completed the merge. You must merge to the printer or to a new
document. See
