incorrect chapter numbering in figure captions
Hello.
I'm working on a document containing multiple chapters. The chapter names are defined to be of Heading 1 type and Heading 1 is numbered using "Outline numbered" function. Each chapter of the document contains figures with captions including the chapter number. In some of the captions I can see the correct chapter number. However in some others in the same chapter I see 0 instead of the correct number. Please help me to solve this problem............ Many thanks. |

incorrect chapter numbering in figure captions
Do you have Track Changes turned on? If so, numbering will not be correct
until you have accepted all the changes. Also, have you used F9 to update the caption numbering? -- Suzanne S. The "Track changes" option is not on. F9 has not helped either.
