I hope this is an easy one. I have added checkboxes to a document. However
the only way they work is if the document is protected. But if I protect it I can't save it - it gives me a runtime error. Help! |

Don't know about inability to save if it is protected. You've got some
macros running there, it sounds like. Ones that didn't anticipate a protected document. There are a number of ways to create and use clickable checkboxes in documents / templates. Some require protected or locked forms, others do not. Take a look at the Checkbox template available at http://www.addbalance.com/word/downl...#CheckboxAddIn for an exploration of these. -- Charles Kenyon Word New User FAQ & Web Directory: http://addbalance.com/word Intermediate User's Guide to Microsoft Word (supplemented version of Microsoft's Legal Users' Guide) http://addbalance.com/usersguide See also the MVP FAQ: http://www.mvps.org/word which is awesome! --------- --------- --------- --------- --------- --------- This message is posted to a newsgroup.
