If I insert a date field in a table cell, today's date is displayed. When I
save this file and if I open it tomorrow, the date field will update to tomorrows date. Is there any way to retain the original date? TIA |

Toggle field coded (ALT+F9). Change { DATE } to {CREATEDATE} don't mess
with the { } if you do and accidently delete them then reinsert with CTRL+F9. Toggle fields again. -- Greg Maxey/Word MVP A Peer in Peer to Peer Support BIGEYE wrote: If I insert a date field in a table cell, today's date is displayed.
