How can I read a Word document out loud using Text to Speech?
Years ago (Windows 95), I could use my laptop's text-to-speech (TTS) engine
to read a document out loud. It is great for proof reading documents. Windows XP has Narrator for announcing foreground windows and window options but I do not know how to get it to speak text from a document (Word or ASCII text). The Language Bar has references to TTS but then covers STT (speech to text). What am I missing? Is TTS only supported by third party applications? |
