Hello All,

I have a question. I have 3 templates in which I would like to combine into
one .dot file. Is this possible to do? I tried copy and paste and insert
object and this does not work correctly.

Also is it possible to add templates to the right menu when you click on new.
I want to have these 3 templates available on the right hand side when New is
chosen.

I am defiantly not a Word guru so any help at all is greatly appreciated

It depends on exactly what you mean by "combine" and what result you want.

If the templates contain text that should be present in each document based
on the final template, you can just copy and paste the text. If the margins,
number of columns, headers/footers, or page numbering differ and you want to
keep those differences, you'll need to insert section breaks in the final
template to separate those sections.

If you want to combine the available styles, autotext entries, and/or
macros, use the Organizer (Tools Templates & Add-ins Organizer) to copy
them from the original templates to the final one. You may need to make some
adjustments, for example if you have styles with the same names but
different definitions.
