I need to be able to simply double-click a .dot file and have it open a "new"
..doc file instead of opening the actual .dot file as it is doing right now. That's how it always worked before, but ever since I updated from Office 2002 to Office 2003, I've had this one complaint. I'm sure it's a setting somewhere, but I don't know where it is. I know to simply right-click on the template and select "New", or go throught File - New - Template... but I can't expect my co-workers to know that. Besides, isn't that the whole point of creating a template file? I'm having the same issue in Excel 2003. |
