Default Can I control Windows Media Player play or pause while typing a d.

I transcribe television programs. Can I control Windows Media Player with
hotkeys while typing a document in Word, without switching back and forth
between Media Player and Word? There is a program called Express Scribe that
does that with audio, but I need the video as well, and that's why I thought
Media Player would help me with that.
