I'm searching for underlined text and replacing with the same text but with
a code at the beginning and end. So, for example, if I find the underlined word "Bulletin", I want to replace it with "UBulletinU*". I search for Format: Underline and Replace with U^&U*. This has worked great for me for years, but today I ran into a file in which it doesn't quite work. Word has no problem finding the underlined words, but when it replaces, it moves the Find What Text into other places, sometimes before the code, sometimes in the middle of the code, so I might end up with something like "UBulletinU*". Does anyone know why this might be happening? Ken Benson |
