I am working in word 2003 documents containging about 600-800 pages and is
unable to number all the pages in the document. If I persist to number the pages after certain limit, the header and footer starts vanishing 30-40 pages before and onwards. |

If I persist to number the pages after certain limit, the header and footer starts vanishing 30-40 pages before and onwards. The number of pages is pretty much immaterial to Word. I've worked with documents of over 1000, and files with ten times that number have been reported here. How do you number your documents? I hope you're not inserting the page numbers through the dialog under Insert (that menu is good for formatting the page numbers only). How many sections are in your document? Numbered paragraphs? How's the numbering setup? Greetings Robert -- /"\ ASCII Ribbon Campaign | MS \ / | MVP X Against HTML | for / \ in e-mail & news | Word |
