My newly installed Word 2003 persists in opening a maximised window
with the title bar dropped down from the top of the screen and the bottom of the window hidden behind the toolbar. A previous (now closed) thread included advice from someone at Microsoft to zap the Data key for Word in the Registry since that is where the window position is stored: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0\W ord\Data The theory being that Word will then create the key using the default settings. This works, but for some reason I have been unable to fathom, every so often Word reverts to opening documents in the wrong place. Help please! What's going on?? |
