Is there a way to convert several files at once to the new format? I
have hundreds of documents and I would love to convert them, just to
save the space. The new format compresses so well, that most files are
about half the size (and even more dramatic in Access).

I guess it would help if I said into the new Office 2007 format. Not
everyone can read my mind.

OK, so I finally found the conversion tool and for anyone else looking
for it:

Click on the Office Migration Planning Manager. This is some pretty
neat software for enterprise users. It includes:

- Bulk convert tools
- Scanning tools for upgrades
(scans files and determines if there are upgrade problems)
- Recovery tools, etc.

Its pretty neat.
