Hi,
I accidentally saved over a version of a document I needed. I went into "versions" and nothing was there. How can I recover this older version of the document? -Stu |

If you're lucky, you had the "Automatically save a backup" option turned on in Tools Options Save. If you didn't save a backup copy, you can't recover a previous version -- the bits have vanished. See http://www.word.mvps.org/FAQs/General/AutomaticSave.htm for some advice to avoid the problem in the future. -- Regards, Jay Freedman Microsoft Word MVP FAQ: http://word.mvps.org |
