In Word 2002, General Templates, why would the email icon change from an
envelope to a generic icon? Word is installed as part of Works 8, email app is Outlook Express. Just curious. Thanks in advance. |

Word is not part of Works 8 or any other version of Works. Word does come
with Works Suite, but Works Suite versions are given as years (Works Suite 2003, for example). Are you sure you're using Word 2002 and not the Works word processor? -- Suzanne S. In that case, I haven't a clue. Are you referring to the "E-mail Message"
template in the File | New dialog? Does it now have the same icon as an ordinary .dot file? Since that "template" and the one for "Web Page" and "XML Document" are hard-coded rather than file-based, I'm not sure it's possible to save customized versions as files, but that might be an explanation if it is possible. -- Suzanne S.
