[t&lsmum]

I have always been able to make the font size quite large in MSWord but today
I can't make it any larger than the 72pt displayed in the menu. Have tried
directly on toolbar as well as through Format - font menu. Don't know where
to go from here!

Hmmmm.... it's amazing how much a mouse reduces our ways of thinking. Format
Font. Type a number into the font size box.

Thanks to those who replied to my dilemma but I already know how to change
the font size. My problem is that today it wont let me type in a new size and
I don't know why. I can delete the number that is there but it wont let me
type in any number, either larger, or one that is not on the list!

Everything else seems to be working as normal.

Is the currently active printer one that is capable of printing graphics? If
so, you should be able to enter any font size and press Enter to have it
accepted. If not, you'll be limited to the font sizes resident in the
printer.

Is this maybe a keyboard issue? Can you type in the box using the numbers at
the top of the keyboard rather than on the number pad?

Thankyou! Thankyou! Thankyou! Yes it was a keypad issue! I discovered my 3
yr old had disengaged the numberlock (a button I have never taken a moment's
notice of before now!!!) and all is well! Yay!
