Word 2000
I've got a printer/copier that can print on 11x17 paper. I'd like to format exisitng word files that are currently formatted to print on 81/2x11 paper to print on the 11x17 so that I basically get 2 pages on one page. My printer can also print double sided so I'll be doing that as well. I can't figureout how to format a file to fit/print on the 11x17. Thanks John |

Select "2 pages per sheet" in the Page Setup dialog.

Thanks Suzanne,
Your answer pointed me in the right direction. There is also an option on this printer called booklet that puts the pages in the right order for folding the 11x17 in half like a book. I would not have found that option without your answer. Thanks John "Suzanne S. Barnhill" wrote: Select "2 pages per sheet" in the Page Setup dialog. -- Suzanne S. I didn't mention this because "Book fold" was introduced in Word 2002, but
indeed some printer drivers do have a similar option. -- Suzanne S. These notes helped us but when printing the each sheet comes out different
and all jumbled. The first sheet comes out correct but following record comes out the opposite way - #1 - 4 & 1 are face up and #2 - 2&3 are face up. Help! -- dm "Suzanne S. We discovered another problem - not only are they printing jumbled the data
is carrying onto the next record. For instance John Smith @ 123 Street, City, ST Zip prints on page 1 (as it should) but on page 3 it prints the previous persons info and John Smith's info is on the next page. Please Help as always we discovered this at the last minut. -- dm "Debi" wrote: These notes helped us but when printing the each sheet comes out different and all jumbled. If you're duplexing, you'll need to tell the printer to flip on the short
edge instead of the long edge to get this to come out right. -- Suzanne S. I am using Word 2007 and do not find the "Book Fold" option. Can you please
provide the navigation to this option? "Suzanne S. On the Page Setup tab, click the dialog launcher (small arrow) in the bottom
right corner of the Page Setup group. On the Margins tab of the Page Setup dialog, select "Book fold" from the "Multiple pages" dropdown. You'll then get some additional choices and display. -- Suzanne S. Barnhill Microsoft MVP (Word) Words into Type Fairhope, Alabama USA http://word.mvps.org "Flintstone" wrote in message ...
