Default speech recognition word 2000

I have word 2000 is the speech recognition program available with this
product. I have tried to update but it look as if i will have to buy office
XP ££££. Any ideas?...

Default speech recognition word 2000

Hi Carriee,

MS only included the dictation program in Office XP and Office 2003. It's discontinued in Office 2007. Generally, the 3rd party
products will work with what you have and with the newer Office versions and often have additional features. http://nuance.com for
one example.
