Hi folks,
I'm hoping someone can help me create a single TOC from multiple documents. I'm working with a group of 8 analysts writing various sections of a 200 page report, so for simplicity we've divided the report into separate documents for each chapter. We are using outline numbering for the chapter and section headings, using styles (following the directions from Shauna Kelly's "How to create numbered headings...". My question is, is it possible to create a single TOC using the chapter and heading styles from the separate documents? I'm open to any and all suggestions! Except I'd prefer not to use a master document - I hear terrible things about them... Thank you! Vrin |
