EBook means a special PDF format? I'm not aware of any difference
regarding the template on the Word side of things ...

Default EBook Word Templates

Hello Robert,
Thanks. My students first brought it to my attention that one can create an
EBook on MS Word EBook Template, then convert the ebook to PDF (PDF-EBook).
At the time, student(s) provided me with instructions on how to create a Word
Template for EBooks, but I misplaced the instructions since retirement.
Also, "Bravos" posted a similar request on this forum; I asked him to contact
me but as yet we have not connected. Hope this explains my request for MS
Word Template for Ebooks.

Not quite (at least, not for me).

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ebook talks about a bunch of different
formats. From your text above, I assume you are going the PDF route.

With that in mind, I don't see any specific features a template for
documents that get later converted to PDF shall have (IOW: you can take
any template you like). I would guess that, the simpler, the better: you
don't need any fancy layout, your text is reflowed anyway, so "keep it
simple" should be the way to go.

[It's the conversion process to PDF on the other end that probably needs
at least as much preparation and forethought.]

Greetings
Robert

Default EBook Word Templates

Robert,
Appreciate your advise. Found a couple of EBook Templates for MS Word after
many Google Searches using different word combinations.

Once again: I use MS Word for Class Workbooks, Class Syllabi, Articles,
Exercises, etc. for students. As you know, these and other materials merged
into one file, then converted to PDF's (Adobe Acrobat) and uploaded to
faculty web page for downloads by students or the public. Also, I created
several "murder novelettes" that students use to practice logic and develop
logic skills. I sought a MS Word template that would standardize the
formatting and style of these logic-novels, which can then be converted to
PDF's.

I think I have found what if was seeking.
