Default How do I get Word 2007 to let me manually hyphenate a doc?

The documents I produce have to be manually hypenated and I can't get word
2007 to let me do it. I take documents to another computer to hyphenate and
then return them and send.

On the Ribbon select the Page Layout tab and in the Page Setup section click
on hyphenation and in the menu select the one you want.

I've tried that several times, but it still will not go through the document
and let me hyphenate only the words I choose.

If you want to hyphenate manually, turn automatic hyphenation off entirely.
Then insert conditional hyphens (Ctrl+Hyphen) where you want to break words.
