Default Wrong word wrapping

I have a "word" i'm using in a report. The "word" is Vp-p where the "p-p"
part is a subscript. This, by the way, stands for Volts, peak to peak. the
word comes were Vp-p is at the end of the line, and Word thinks it's ok to
split the Vp-p after the dash, thus giving the second p a new line. this is
not what what i want. i know i can put a carrage return before the V and
have that start a new line, but then word thinks i've made a grammar mistake.
is there any way to force the whoe "Vp-p" to be considered a word?

Default Wrong word wrapping

Try using a nonbreaking hyphen (Ctrl+Shift+hyphen).

Make the hyphen non breaking. Hold down Ctrl + Shift and type the underline.

You might want to save that as an AutoCorrect entry to facilitate insertion.
