Transferring Auto Correct file from Word 97 to Windows XP Computer
I saved my old autocorrect file from a Windows 2000 computer
when I transferred my Word 97 program to my new XP Computer. I placed the *.acl file in my windows folder on my C drive under the correct logon name, but when I use Word, I always get the default autocorrect file. Could someone tell me how I can transfer my old autocorrect file to my new Windows XP Computer? Thanks, JD |

Transferring Auto Correct file from Word 97 to Windows XP Computer
acl files have different names (and locations) in different releases of
Word. See http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Customizat...utocorrect.htm for some information about it. -- Enjoy, Tony wrote in message oups.com...
