Save in read-layout
Hi
Is it possible to save a document in read-layout, so that when I attach the file in an email, the readers will open it in read-layout? If yes-how off course!! :0) Thanks Therese |

Save in read-layout
Whether attached documents open in Reading Layout is determined by the
"Allow starting in Reading Layout" in Tools | Options, General tab. Check the option to open in Reading Layout, clear it if you don't want to. But note that this is a *user* setting; you cannot control if your email recipients keep it checked or un-checked. Actually, it might be best to keep it turned off, since it causes trouble with automatic TOCs; they don't display the correct page numbers on start. -- Stefan Blom Microsoft Word MVP "Therese" wrote in message ... Save in read-layout
Well, of course, you can *ask* your recipients to turn the option on,
but it cannot be easily automated (unless you are the recipients' network administrator). -- Stefan Blom Microsoft Word MVP "Therese" wrote in message ... Right, so it's not possible ?
