For special characters in general, see
http://www.word.mvps.org/FAQs/Genera...tSpecChars.htm. For the lower case pi in particular, it's in the Insert Symbol dialog -- set the font to "(normal text)" and the subset to "Basic Greek". Or, in the body of a document (if you're using Word 2002 or later), type 03c0 and press Alt+X. -- Regards, Jay Freedman Microsoft Word MVP FAQ: http://word.mvps.org Email cannot be acknowledged; please post all follow-ups to the newsgroup so all may benefit.
