Default difficulty with page breaks ("pagenation")

I have a 32 page document that I have created a page break in to allow for
changing the orientation of one page. Everything has worked fine until now.
I am having trouble scrolling throught the document. At the bottom of the
window below the bottom tool bar it says "Word is repagenating". How do I
get rid of this? I have tried accepting changes and tried searching word
help first... nothing works. It's very irritating!!
