Default How to I turn off the prompt to confirm the deletion of a block o.

This may be a minor issue but when I'm editing test and want to delete a
block of text, I'm always prompted to confirm the delete. Is there any way
to turn the prompt off?

Try this:
Select Tools options General tab and deselect "Help for WordPerfect
users" and "Navigation keys for WordPerfect users". Click OK.
