I have a 50 page document that I have formatted with outline
numbering, captioned, etc. On my computer at work, I have Word 2003 and every time I load this document, it consumes nearly 100% of the CPU. Even my Outlook has trouble running (nearly locks up) when this document is loaded. When I ;am working on the document, the cursor does not show most of the time and it "jumps" around by a character or 2 when I have the mouse pointer in the area of the cursor. I know I did not use outline numbering, properly, but I don't know why it would be so active even when the document was in the background. Does anyone have any ideas. I don't seem to have the problem with my Word 2000 at home, but I have not done much with it at home. |
